Tips and tricks to run a rack faster

Most of the players have there own speciality of shooting fast.
But also the most players using kind of tactics to run a rack even faster.
This can be tricks like the well know righ click and drag or holding ctrl and drag.

a few of my tips and tricks.
some may be well known others a clearance to your brain;)

1. right click or holding ctrl to drag the cue
This makes you not using the control panel and will give u more speedness at shooting.
The only thing you ened to work out is the speed control, just practise practise.

2. Use spin only when needed or when you think your gonna scratch.
Everytime you need to move to the control panel to adjust something will take extra time.

3. Set the cue ball for the next player when you don't have a good shot.
You are playing as a team and not as a individual otherwise go and play normal cutthroat.

4. If you don't have a good shot and somewhere on the table is a group of balls with a ball in it you need for the rack. Then split that group for the next player

5. When you have a straight line to pot a ball, use full power. The cue will stop faster and gives you a faster go for the next pot.

6. When you don't have a straight line for a pot, watch out how hard you shoot. The bigger angle you shoot on with more speed, the longer cue role out will take.

7. When a ball is short in front of a pocket, leave it there ! Most of the time with some adjustment of spin or angle on another ball you will or can get a double pot

8. At the last ball try to pot the cue at the same shot. This will give a immediately stop of the game, witch results in starting a new rack earlier.

9. When you shoot your last ball, don't shoot it to hard. The longer it will take before the cue stops and when you can start a new rack. Only do this ofcourse when you don't see an option to pot the cue with the same shot.

10. DON'T SCRATCH !!


Ok these are a few tips and tricks from me. Ofcourse most players already know most of them, but some won't.

One more tip to add
Do NOT miss shot even if you pot wrong ball. Meaning, Run the rack. passing shot to another player takes little longer than potting wrong ball.

One More Point I would like to add too is that :

You get close to the balls you want to play so its easier for you to see angle and to move it slowly with your mouse ... long distanced shots moves the angle too fast with your mouse and you have to use the control panel

The closer you will get the better because if the cue is the closest way to the ball you want to play it will automatically set itself on it when the stick will spawn

So set yourself comfortable and get closer as you can to the balls you want to play

if u have no shot always think of next person make it as easy as possible for this person at edn of day its teamword not all about individuals

Small tip, try running the rack in such a way that you leave your balls on the table. You dont need to tap in this case.

Also try saving your best breaker balls (not what it seems ) so they can get some balls scored on the break
